MARINE TESTED CIVILIAN APPROVED

In 2009, while stationed at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, Paul began making salsa as a hobby. He used his fellow barracks Marines as test subjects-taking note of their preferences and objections while applying their critiques to his next batch. He began his “happily ever after” when he and Morgan tied the knot in 2013. They navigated the globe together to various duty stations, and their salsa quickly became a dinner and party favorite on multiple continents.

In 2020, they transitioned from the Marine Corps way of life and purchased his grandparents farm, successfully beginning their long term goal of raising their sons on a homestead.  Immediately, Paul and Morgan began raising Dexter cattle and multiple hair sheep breeds while studying and practicing various forms of sustainable agriculture applicable to the local ecology on their farm.

Understanding the hardships involved with raising a family and maintaining a farm, in 2022 they took the leap and decided to bring A Taste of Freedom to life in an effort to supplement their farm’s income and share their product with their community. Under the Cottage Law, they began cooking and canning A Taste of Freedom to sell at local markets and events. Within nine months they cashflowed their salsa into a commercial kitchen making it available to sell by a third party. Together, they strategically found opportunities to use A Taste of Freedom to financially support multiple youth sports organizations and Veterans in their time of need.

To Paul and Morgan, A Taste of Freedom is more than just salsa. It’s a testament to the hard work, dedication, and love they have poured into every jar with the intent to make a difference for a better tomorrow. Each sale continues to fund youth sports and support the sustainable agriculture efforts of their farm. Wholeheartedly, they believe there is no greater investment than in our next generation, closely followed by ensuring that generation’s ability to live a life of health and prosperity.

When you buy A Taste of Freedom Salsa, you’re doing more than adding bold, homemade flavor to your table - you’re helping invest in the next generation of our community.

A portion of every single jar sold goes directly toward supporting local youth sports programs, helping cover things like umpire fees, registration costs, and essential equipment. That means every time you scoop, dip, or pour our salsa, you’re helping kids get on the field, stay active, and chase their dreams - no matter their family’s budget.

Thank you for helping us make a difference with every jar. ❤️
